The Corner Bar is one of our fave watering holes, located in the legendary Hotel Boulderado at the heart of downtown Boulder. Lots of variety in their excellent menu, solid cocktails, an excellent happy hour and one of the best patios in town.

FAVORITES: crispy brussels sprouts & cauliflower, mustard crusted salmon salad, burgers, the wings (III)

Long time and lively local favorite, semi-recently relocated to a central location with great patio, colorful decor, friendly service and tasty margs. They've got a decent-sized patio.

FAVORITES: chips y salsa (they'll keep 'em coming), hot pork green chili (especially when it's smothering the beef & bean burrito), blue corn enchiladas. And the margs. Did we mention the margs?

Located on the mall at the corner of 14th & Pearl, Avanti sports the best rooftop in Boulder (in addition to their downstairs dining area). Avanti pretty much launched the Front Range's food hall frenzy, and still does it better than anyone. With seven restaurants and two bars, they've got something for everyone, and they serve it up in a fun, lively setting.

FAVORITES: Boychik's hummus and falafel are some of the best we've had anywhere in the world (and we've eaten a lot of hummus and falafel), the pizza at New Yorkese (located on the rooftop), Avanti's signature cocktail: the Mezcal Negroni (poured from a keg).
