Things to know

Rider Requirements

- Minimum rider age: 10 (10-17 requires parent or adult guardian). - Our minimum height requirement is 5'0". - Our maximum height allowance is 6'6". - Our maximum weight capacity is 275 lbs. - ALL RIDERS must be able to handle a 65-pound bicycle. Things to Bring

Not necessarily required, but strongly recommended: •camera •sunglasses •sunscreen •bike helmet (we'll provide if you don't have one) •water bottle (we'll provide if you don't have one) •rain/cold weather gear (check the forecast before you come and keep in mind that you'll be traveling at speeds of 15 mph or more and Colorado weather can change quickly. Wind chill is a real thing! We recommend dressing in layers.)

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are confirmed once payment is received. - A full refund will be issued on cancellations received 48 hours or more before scheduled tour/rental start time. - A refund less 25% will be issued on cancellations made 24-48 hours in advance of your scheduled reservation. - No refunds will be issued on reservations canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled starting time. - If you fail to show up for your reserved tour/rental and do not contact us ahead of time, no refund will be issued.

Weather Policy

Weather conditions can change rapidly in Boulder and safety is our highest priority. If the weather is inclement and not conducive to a safe and pleasant ride, JD's Joyrides will cancel the tour and riders can reschedule for another day or receive a full refund. Weather cancellations are subject to the sole discretion of JD's Joyrides.

- We do NOT have restrooms! We can stop along the way as needed. - The bikes have racks to which we can attach your pack, jacket, etc. Your guide will also have some (but not unlimited) carrying capacity for extra bags/jackets/gear. If you're not sure, bring it!
